Secret Pyramid - Distant Works II FLAC

Probably my favorite recording of 2016, cassette or otherwise. Same as in past years when Amir Abbey / Konrad Jandavs released Amir's The Silent March. And then Movements of Light followed a few years later. Secret Pyramid in fact holds too true to the name. And the Popol Vuh vibe remains, but never since has anyone been as intimate as this. Piano, strings, tapes, but no guitars, you can only imagine how this was made. Cue up Aguirre and then settle in for Distant Works. And better yet, set on repeat and get lost in the waves. Somehow copies of this still exist. I can't recommend highly enough. New recordings to see light also soon. Easily a top 5 artist for me this decade.
