SEPPUKU - “Chug, Chug, Blah, Blah” EP
Breakneck speed metal/thrash crossover with vocals and structure very much akin to Protestant-QrdL RORSCHACH. SEPPUKU’s only fallacy (and a minor one at that) is that they tend to play the same song more than once, so to speak, with songs that don’t have much character when you take the record as a whole. Yet this a really minor criticism. I’m really into the gritty sound of the recording which I think definitely adds to the overall roughness of the release. Rough in a good way, that is. As a whole, this record is incredibly decent and well recommended. Pressing of only 70? Well, good luck. (SP)
