Apart from the drum breaks, I cannot find much to like about this song. For historical reference only IMO.

Yes. the VERY FIRST release on West End, and yes, Flash and other early hip-hop dj's used it for it's breaks. Beyond that, never much cared for the song itself outside of the drum breaks. A bit too cheeky for my taste.

Thank Goodness West End did not stick with this vibe for the remainder of it's catalog!
West End (along with Prelude, Salsoul, & Emergency, Prism, etc.) became one of the most important labels in dance music for many reasons, but I doubt one of those main reasons was "SessoMato".
