Original 1st pressing on green/red Virgin labels. The 1st pressing is identified by the labels being 'sunk' halfway out from the centre. This version varies from other 1st pressings as the small circular white sticker label on the front of the Sleeve in the upper right hand corner is different. It shows "VR2 £3.52 R.R.P." and not the standard "VR2 Sex Pistols R.R.P. £3.20" on the sticker on the front. This one is the German editon, as there is the Virgin catalogue number 200 913-270 used for this one. (see photo sticker on back of sleeve). For Germany there was no local pressing, they just used the UK pressing with German number.
On the front there was a sticker (same size as the promotional sticker) over Sids swastika shirt stating "SPECIAL PRICE! THIRD ALBUM". Suppose this was used to avoid troubles as Swastika is not allowed in Germany. (on these pics used here someone has removed the sticker, but you can still see the residuals.) Maybe someone could provide a pic of a complete sleeve.
