First US stereo release of cover. Simon & Garfunkel in white lettering. Sounds of Silence in blue on one line underneath. No song listing. Later stereo issues had the songs listed on the cover.
Track A6, "Angie," is misspelled as "Anji" and is wrongly credited to "D. Graham" instead of B. Jansch. The back cover spells it correctly as "Angie" but still credits it to Davy Graham.
This stereo version includes Tiger Beat magazine in the group pictures on the back cover. Later versions have the Tiger Beat image airbrushed out. Red Columbia label with white "360 Sound" lettering.
Some copies had a hype sticker on the shrink wrap: "Includes The Sounds Of Silence as featured in the motion picture The Graduate CL2469/CS 9269" (see images).Cover: Simon & Garfunkel in white lettering Sounds of Silence in green with song listing below.
