JUST DO IT

One of my top 4 Skinny Puppy albums, which passed through a few hands at a radio station before it made it to my collection - but sadly I don't think they ever played it. The frequencies on this record have a lot of bite, and I wouldn't have it any other way. SP always captured distortion in such pure ways, and my Puppy sounds like a test pressing locked in a time capsule. All the parts here stand out except the samples, which suffer on every mix I've heard except the "Testure" single. A few kind souls felt gracious enough to tag my Puppy with a few stickers - one confirming they impounded it on 11/25/88 and another that says "Do not remove from Station." Well, this one ran away, and he's never going back. Consider this Puppy adopted, happy and content living out the rest of his days in a loving home.

Still as potent and new as the first time I jammed to this on fresh wheels. That's right - I used to skate to Ogilvie and Key! Terrific trick potential with electro-industrial chunes, I promise. This LP is a ideal starter kit for any mutant wanting to hop into the industrial-EBM cage.
