Skyjuice Productions Presents Infinite - The Distant Plateau EP FLAC

From the sleeve artwork which depicts a road high above the clouds and yet surrounded by a boundless ocean, one would say that the "Distant Plateau" is a place which is unreachable and timeless. Yes, timeless. That is what describes the music here as well.

From the "Central Nervous System" epic opening reminiscent of a sweeping cinema score, it blends smoothly into the "Original Vibe", a jazzy deep house groove with an accoustic guitar arrangement which complements the bassline beautifully.
The guitarwork is so skillful and clear-sounding that it makes me wonder if the player who is credited as "Eric Appapoulay" is actually the alias of Eric Clapton.

On the flip side, the "Sky Juice Schizoid Club Mix" comes with a more percussive drumbeat and offers DJs a club friendlier version to work with. Finally, the "Merry Go Round Mix" is the chilled out rework which is excellent for that cosy lounge setting where you unwind and have a cup of something.
