"Partially Unofficial" is totally incorrect! Not a bootleg whatsoever. This is THE original version of this album, released by the band. I got it when it came out. How are you going to call a private release by the band themselves unofficial?

Clearly you didn't do much research. I was not referring to the Rise Above/Music Cartel CD from 1999. I'm talking about the beige/brown illustrated cover 1998 CD, the first ever released version of this album - which is what this listing depicts. The band DID release that themselves. (It's even mentioned in the notes above) The only reason the person who wrote this entry must have added "semi/partially" official is because London Records most likely still held rights to the recording at that time. The Music Cartel release is a completely different entity and was indeed unauthorized. The band finally ended up sanctioning the recovered full session to be released years later as "Dopesmoker". End of story.

not true: "The Rise Above/Music Cartel release was an unauthorized edited version, released in 1999 under the title Jerusalem. Jerusalem runs at 52 minutes and is a single composition split into six identically named tracks. The version of the album titled Dopesmoker was released on April 22, 2003, by Tee Pee Records on compact disc and vinyl with a 63-minute running time. Cisneros spoke most positively about the 2003 Dopesmoker release, saying "I don't think the Dopesmoker thing is the exact version that we submitted, but that's the closest one that's come out of the four. If I had to pick a favorite, that would be it."
