The A&G Full Testament Mix is probably the best version to be played. The introduction is dark and mysterious. The beat keeps building up and leads to a first climax where the gospel chant can be heard, quickly followed by an catchy anthemic synth hook. The second climax brings the whole song to a much happier vibe. Then it goes back to the chant, acapella; the hook again, and a long dubby sequence with Sting singing alone ("Let your soul..."). These remixes are not very well known. I discovered the A&G Full Testament Mix on the radio (around 2AM) where it got played - unfortunately - once or twice at the time of release. It was competing with serious club hits at the time (the Van Helden remixes for example) and didn't get a good exposure from DJ's.

Venemarr

Every now and then in my collection, I come across a lot of what I call "WCS tracks" - "Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda". In other words, if I had my way, these tracks woulda, coulda, and shoulda been huge hits. That's how I feel when I hear these A&G mixes of "Let Your Soul Be Your Pilot". This is just pure gospel-like house music bliss that almost makes you levitate off the floor, and I don't think they were never released in the US at all. That's a shame. BTW, for you fans of BT and progressive house stuff, the last dub on this single is right up your alley. Man, Sting has had some pretty cool dance mixes in his career. Who would've thunk it?
