I've just pulled mine out the racks after about 3 years of not playing it (is this karma for leaving it on the shelf without playing it??) and I've discovered the same problem.i will try vodka plus elbow grease and then put it on my dad's record cleaning machine.Results to follow.....

Tried the "white spirit" thing as Mojuba Records recommended in the replies and showered the record in the best vodka from my stack. Result: Goo still there, vinyl now covered in scratches from all the desperate scrubbing and record smells like a Russian booze-up. Patient was too far gone already, as it seems... Guess I need to be looking for the repress now. *sigh*

my copy is also ruined. have plenty of other mojuba/artless/... releases that worked out fine though, not sure what went wrong here. putting a "from vinyl with love" sticker on the inside, now let's try to clean this sh**

To clear things up here a little, when originally applying the fake leather patch to the inner sleeve during the manufacturing of the records everything seemed fine, as it was with all other releases on Mojuba & wandering around that time. However as soon as it was noticed that there's a problem that the fake leather and the adhesive tape and that they are reacting to each other in this unpleasant way (typically after circa 3 years) , this artwork concept was first altered to padded inner sleeves to avoid glue on the record and later the concept was completely abandoned.If you are experiencing the glue problem you can easily clean the record with white spirit / turpentine substitute or lighter fluid and micro fiber / soft cloth. If you contact Mojuba directly at "info at mojubarecords dot com" a replacement inner sleeve of your release can be offered free of charge with any new or back catalogue vinyl ordered from the label directly.

Proper pissed, the glue off that stupid leather thing on the sleeve has ruined my record, they should issue refunds if this happens or put em in normal sleeves like everyone else. What's the point anyway?

I think I can get me a remplacement inner sleeve without having to wait for "1" ?!?!? innersleeve to be shipped ... I'm sorry but this is soo damn funny .... are you really shipping one sleeve to people complaining about the glue ???I guess the fake leather patch idea was cool, but sadly it didn't work out ...ps: ( I had the same problem, just remplaced the innersleeve before it was too late )

Agreed. I just pulled the record out the other day and it is totally ruined. I wouldn't even care if it was on the b-side but of course it's affected the two best tracks. Now I have to buy another record because of some stupid piece of junk attached to the rice paper thin sleeve.
