Being of the non German speaking westerner I will say that irregardless of the language barrier this is one heck of a groovy hook laden piece of new wave synth pop.
The lyrics are so precisely woven into the synth, guitar and bass licks that its like audio heroin to those seeking lost 80s music! Seriously the musicians are very tight, dynamic using all the tech that 1981 could finagle including popping old drum machines, jingly stratocasters and those fat old analog synthesizers so relegated to that era.
From high energy openers like Tabuzone to the dreamy almost Peter Schilling like synth melancholy of Allein its all really great music here.
Too bad this band was only able to muster up one fantastic slice of German new wave brilliance only to fade away.
Once again......why isnt this on cd?????? Btw if anyone is interested their track Allein (Alone) appears on one of the Elaste cd compilations which also features Jamaica Running by The Pool another lost gem!
