This mispressing features Little Drummer Boy by Lou Rawls on the B-side instead of I Am The Walrus. The label is the same as the correct pressing: Magical Mystery Tour.From cover sleeve: Specially re-mixed by George Martin at the Abbey Road Studios.

"With a digitally re-mixed and remastered soundtrack by producer George Martin. Unique Identification info: Title song still has the unique voice track "roll-up roll-up" introduction (now in clean remixed stereo) and first scenes of the bus zooming in and out still show stars with scratchy lines above to show a falling effect (later releases change this). Overall film has much sharper colour and remixed Dolby Stereo audio with nice separation and quality. This release's collector importance is the clean stereo version of the title song with the unique voice track intro - which in future releases will no longer be used." This very early pressing has "Let It Be Mini-Documentary" (instead of "Magical Mystery Tour mini-documentary") on the CD label under the song titles. The movie that plays is actually the one for Magical Mystery Tour. The typo was corrected on the subsequent pressing The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour.Released in a gatefold sleeve which also contains a 24 pages long children's book based on the tv movie 'Magical Mystery Tour'. This is the first pressing with a blue lyric sheet in the centre of booklet. The second pressing has a yellow sheet.

Inserts - Printed in U.S.A.1978 edition which has a Canadian-pressed purple label LP in a U.S. printed sleeve with the stapled booklet.

"Includes 24-page full color picture book" text bar under the front cover picture; early on in the 1978 U.S. pressing
run the booklets were dropped from the package and a purple overprint replaced this text. Presumably parts were
shipped to Canada for this initial pressing to utilise the remaining by-then 'redundant' sleeve stock; most likely from
the Capitol Jacksonville plant. Runout matrices have U.S. 'Mastered By Capitol' stamps.
