I picked this up for a quarter today while digging. I was very surprised to find it on here looking up for so much. What gives? Was this just an extremely limited pressing? Most of the Tamla 7" issues I own seem to be rather common.

I bought this for the B side: Why When Love is Gone. The price has climbed steadily over the past 15 years because it is sought after by Northern Soul DJs and collectors. Although maybe not technically a Northern Soul record, "Why When..." still packs dancefloors at such soul nights and "weekenders". For me, this is a great Northern-ish Motown (Tamla) semi-rare dancer. The acid guitar backing makes it more unique, rather than detracting from the soulfulness of the sound.
