A very good Album, most tracks evoke big open spaces with a summer night atmosphere. My favorite tracks in this release are : "Ridin' On A High" , "Yellow And Blue", "Reachin' Out", "The Waterfront" and last but not least " Room Of A Million Rainbows" a track that is different from the rest of the album, sounds more like trance, reminds me Paul Van Dyk sound.

The Waterfront not on 12"?

I'm very sorry, but I have to disagree with previous comment. Beeing quite familiar with Mr Cochois'es production, I have to say that this is by far the biggest dissappointment in his creation. I was stunned then I expected something like Diary, which is one of the greatest ablums of genre to me...Instead I discovered an album compiled in rush and with hammy tracks. Only few moments here, "Love is Beautiful" and "Love trap". Happily his next work, Soulstickers is more like Timewriter I know, but not quite at the same level as Diary...

With this album, The Timewriter once more underlines his outstanding position on the international House scene.
In exemplary fashion, he shows his feeling for grooves, sounds and vocals that have made him into the highly esteemed and world-wide respected artist he is today.
As in all of his albums, one notices a certain energy-loaded connectivity between the tracks, a red line if you like, that helps tie each differently coloured song into something of a final bigger picture.
His unique production style is characterised by the enormous dense and atmospheric sound that one so clearly can distinguish from other writer/producers in the same field.
Since the mid 1990’s, this sound was an essential contribution to what later became the established musical sub-genre TechHouse.
His unmistakeable trademark style goes far beyond the dance floors and is based on sophisticated musicality and profound depth.
As Muzik Magazine wrote: “This is real 21st century soul music, avoid of clichés, overflowing with magic”.

What a dissapointment. It's been over three years since the release of Diary, a masterpiece album, and I was so excited to hear that Timewriter had another full length out. My excitement was pretty much crushed after the first listen. This album alternates between cheesey, club house and even cheesier layered trance music - with ridiculous vocal snippets. It doesn't even come close to the amazing deepness and lush production work of his previous albums. It's almost like JFC has been doing nothing but eating pills for the past three years and lost his soul in the process. If I were you, I would treasure your Diary and Jigsaw albums and try to forget this lame venture ever took place.
