NOTE: on 5/12/1980 former Professionals bassist Andy Allan stopped the distribution of the album (after 20,000 copies had been sold) with a temporary court injunction, because the Professionals track had been included without his permission. The matter was settled in court on 10/12/1980 when Virgin were ordered to withdraw the album and reissue it in the new year without the Professionals track.Here is the reissued version Various - Cash-Cows℗ 1980 Virgin Records Ltd.

It must be noted also that the Professional track, that disappeared in the repressed version of this lp, is actually a different take from the one later included on their first official album ( I didn't see it coming). This compilation turns to be a quite essential piece of vinyl to completists and that offers a great picture of that 1980 releases.

Attack is the Live version from Paris Au Printemps but possibly a different mix
note that Attack sounds much worse on the 2nd pressing "redacted version" the mastering completely neuters Wobbles collosal bass, it sounds awful

Xellerlu

I finally got the CD of The Flying Lizards "Fourth Wall" after hearing only the version of "Hands 2 Take" on "Cash Cows" for 30 years. I was never able to find "Fourth Wall" in any form for that period. I note the running time on "Cash Cows" is longer than the 4:01 on the RPM "Fourth Wall" CD RM. Moreover, it sounds to be an alternate take or at least mix after my first listen to the "Fourth Wall" CD. I'll investigate further when I have the time to play the vinyl again.
Well, Cash Cows definitely has an early, pre-release mix of "Hands 2 Take." The intro on the Cash Cows mix is a bit longer. The song stays similar to the track's mid-point on both versions. The LP mix has a completely different bridge using instruments not on the early mix. The LP version has another chorus sung by Palladin following the bridge, and in a higher register, where the early mix has none of her singing by the song's mid-point.
