Afrogermanic appeared to be a tip of the hat to Kraftwerk, in a dirty electro-pop manner consistent with sounds that the German group has become reknowned for. A brilliant track itself, even with quirky vocals that are spoken in broken German (at best). The flip side is an absolute Electro masterpiece, though, with Mirage coming very strong with the beats and the deep thought lyrics.

This preceded the I.F. album, and the mix of Mirage is much different (I would say better) than the album mix. This mix is much darker and aggressive than the album version.

This was a very very hot record when it came out and for good reason!
