It's so easy

After years of listening to this compilation I must say it's absolutely BRILLIANT!

I remember back in 1997 I was listening to tape version released in Poland and painted aliens with my sister on 1x3 meters canvas. It unleash explosion of children creativity and imagination unbelievable for adults. In fact it was the most cosmic and futuristic music we knew at that times, with strange mood and riddled with bizarre sounds, and we didn't even know what techno was!

The tape was played to death, so years later I bought CD and it meet the memories. I herd tracks cut out from MC for the firs time, and they were as great.

It isn't rave compilation but contains some rave tracks. I find it well balanced with diverse selection. "Dark side" is dominant but also "bright side" come here and there (Walter by The Moonman, Sunrise by Piet Blank). Still the highlights are heavy, evil-drum-driven tracks like "Hanging out with the Machine Heads", "Get Down", "Echo Chamber", and totally crazy "Da Bizzniz" (the two last ones scared me and my sister when we were shitheads!). "Die Aussagekraft Der Elektronischen Musik" reminds me a luminescent wireframe of spaceship rotating in infinite darkness, this is almost 10 minutes of music of shapes, even music of crystals.

The Sonic Empire Compilation is solid electronic album, perfect for imaginary and 3D work.
