Overall there are some great chillout tunes on this CD. But I didn't think that the tunes blended properly in the overall mixed set. I mean there was no real chilled-out flow from start to finish, and the set list (while I love all the individual tunes) just doesn't create the ambience a good chillout CD is supposed to do. I mean there are some songs that are otherwise really nice, but just didn't seem like they belong in this mix, with the other tunes. I did give this disc a 4 star rating because of the individual tracks, but not for the otherwise inconsistent mix. Do you have the Zen Lounge Chill Sessions Vol III or IV? If you do, could you enter their listings here? Those compilations are a great mix, unfortunately I don't have the CD liners, so I can't list them here. If you get a chance, check out the 4-CD Essential Chill Mix compilation from Sonicdrop Records...I don't see it here, but if I have the time I'll try and create a Discog entry them.
