Text on CD reads:
Why "Smash Hits?"
What hits, you may ask? Well, despite the
ironic title this collection represents some of Ninthwave's
biggest successes. "Hands Up" hit #6 on the Billboard Club
Play chart, it is presented here in an all new edit. "I Am
Gothic" and "Nightshade" both have been featured on the Dance
Dance Revolution video games The DJ Daz song is a ringer, we licenced
that from the UK (it was a huge hit in Eastern Europe).
The rest are some of the best of our recent release, here in exclusive form. The
though Criminals track was the happy accident of the studio engineer letting another
vocalist sing over the band's track. Space March hasn't done a ton of remixes,
this is why we jumped on this one. The Garland Cult had a remix contest,
this was one of the best I think. Lastly, Figaro got the legendary
Steve Bronski (he of Smalltown Boy fame) to "recreate" their
cover of an Empire State Human song. Happy listening.
