Various - Premier Toons Vol. 5 FLAC

This is my first and last "Premier Toons" vinyl i shall buy, due to the appaling sound quality on the Donna Summer Megamix (i didn't buy it for that!), alongside the shoddy mixing/linking of all the tracks. It goes on far too long!

The Madonna Vs. Gat Decor track is good in parts, and then terrible in others because the tunes aren't key matched, which causes earache!

On the other hand the Original Mix of "Passion" is worth buying this vinyl for, however, Flaunt It DJ's "Gat 69" on Ransom (Cat# RANSOM 012) is the best remix i have heard of Gat Decor. That version dwells mostly on that old skool house/hardcore bass riff, and really makes you want to move. Have a look.

These pressings, comming out of a very well known UK vinyl reseller are appaling quality. When i played Donna Summer it sounded like the treble had blown on my speaker. Inevitably with bootlegs you are not always going to get perfect sound quality, but this is the worst i have ever come across. My lesson has been learned - i'll stick to the originals!

The original version of Gat Decor's "Passion" makes this 12" worth a 5/5, shear class!! But also the 15min+ 1982 Patrick Cowley re-work of Donna Summer's 1977 'I Feel Love' track is worth a 5/5. 80's madness, this sound makes me see people dressed in multicoloured and non-hip clothing when I close my eyes; help me! INSOMNIA!!
The Gat Decor vs Madonna track is so so.
