In my opinion volume 3 is the weakest out of the three but not because it's a weak compilation by any means but mainly because the previous especially the first volume are so good they are hard to beat.
Starting with 2 Ambient tunes, disc 1 continues slowly with House-Techno fusions and also some Trance from Taucher and Introspective. Disc rounds off with a faster and more chaotic tune from Force Mass Motion.
Disc 2 goes harder with some really good Acid-Techno-Hardcore sounds. Included is a classic from Art of Trance; not exactly the kind of Trance they later became famous for but more of an Acid-Techno track.

However this compilation has a major flaw: sound! Mastering, if any, is terrible. Some tracks have no bass, otherwise are overwhelmed by it. Some tracks are distorted, though in all fairness I haven’t checked them elsewhere to compare sound. It would have been a much better compilation if it had basic mastering. The previous volumes aren’t mastered top class either but are ‘acceptable’, whereas this one has way too sound inequalities.
Still is not a reason not to get this alongside the other two. This series has a huge wealth of early Hard Techno classics, both known and unknown. Pity it didn’t have more volumes.

Perfect third part of the great Labworks Germany label run by Hoschi aka Holger Wick, unfortunately is the label now defunct. The first disc of the 2CD contains mostly rare tracks from around 1993 like Link's 'The Augar'(Link also appears with a very nice track on Concentrated Underground Volume 2, label: Flagbearer/Death Becomes Me, later in collaboration with Labworks UK) a dubby-groovy track without loosing the connection to the typical high quality underground spirit of that era. Next track, Luke Slater's 'Inductive Channels', is a very melodic trance-winner, because his individual sympathic sounds with a big recognition value. Icon's 'Feel', taken from LAB 21 is a deep-trance trip with melancholic influences - just great.
The next track 'Land Of The Rising Sun' is an explanation why Bonzai was such successful in the early 90s. The track has a very majestic melody with hard stormy rave-beats but composed as a round thing - it doesn't lack in s.t. - just emotional powerful music for the peaktime in clubs.
The last track of the first disc completes the melodic adventure: Its Force Mass Motion with 'Flight Tyme': That are stormy 303 lines together with a heart-grabbing tune and a mayhem-arrangement.
The second disc contains also a lot of highlights what makes the hole compilation to a highlight with the tracks of the first disc together: John & Julie appears with a track from their Red Alert-12" on Dataflow (1993) from what not very much tracks are lifted onto cd-format. 'Red Alert 4' from the Judgement Mayday release does not appear on the 3-tracker 12". The next track was composed by Roland Casper and is taken from maybe his best or one of his best releases ever - on Structure: the Warehouse EP.
Very strong hard analogue acid - in the younger past the track was mixed on the 'Fuckparade 07' release with a track we also talked about before: Flight Tyme - an great outfold of the strength of those storming tunes because the great mixing by the DJ.
On the eight position you can find a similar hard acid track: X-Crash's 'Jury', a thunderstorm of Roland TB and TR-sounds, released on Direct Drive. The cds last track is 'Spine Wrencher' on Chill, the legendary label most people know from tracks of NRG like 'Feel The Fury' or the big selling hit 'I Need Your Love'. But In-Q-Bus comes not with UK-Hardcore but with an hypnotic-hi speed bomb...
At the end you have a milestone 2CD release with one part of calmer, melodic and deeper sounds on the first disc and a second part of acidic-bombing harder sounds. This Double-Cd is absolute worth to buy, if you have the chance - just do it, you won't regret if you love 92-94 sound.

This has to be one of the best compilations i've ever heard. Simply fantastic and vital tracks from the golden years of techno and acid from the early nineties. The compilation starts with beautiful ambient/chill out/idm tunes and gently builds up within the first few tracks. There are many unique tracks from ambient to old-skool-trance, minimalistic techno and hard distorted acid. Simply fabulous stuff!
