Summary: Moby makes building acid stompers for the rave floor. Each track is about 20 minutes long. Not for the docile. The A-side title was chosen by an alt.raver in response to Moby's call for suggestions.

Ballalune

This record holds up well. Demons is great, works at designated tempo or pitched down. This is trance that I still like.
This is a fun track to mix with ghetto tech since it's so fast. In fact, you can mix ghetto tech tracks in and out while you keep Horses playing, the track is so damn long.
This is one of the Moby records I'll be keeping. Certainly one of his truly underground and underrated masterpieces.

This track (HORSES)captivates and holds you at it's mercy. Very powerful!!!!

I can only agree with the previous reviewers - what a great record! Having bought this around 1996 or 1997, I have only listened to this two or three times until now, but everytime I do, it gives me shivers. Even though these two tracks last longer than 20 minutes each, I still feel like they're over way too soon. Truly hypnotic underground techno that works in the club as well as on your headphones at home.

Demons is a long hypnotic trancer that builds and builds and seems to go on forever.
Horses how ever is a different beast.
Full on four to the floor techno with a banging bassline and lovely urgent 303 noises.
Hypnotic, banging, lovely.
