Don't believe the hype that Mr Stoutfellow is trying to spread. Wild Life is a charming, loose-recorded album with some great tunes. Many of the best albums were recorded over a short period and in one take. Basically every version released is an absolute bargain, so why not be adventurous, let go of that 'former-Beatle prerogative' and simply enjoy a fine album.

Eayaroler

An absolutely dreadful album, the fact that it was recorded in only a week and most of the tracks were laid down in just one take is proof that this was shoddy and rushed. None of the songs stay in the memory even after more than one listen. Avoid it like the plague.

Darkraven

Absolute crap you're talking. I love this album and can sing you any of the songs on it. Many, many albums are made in a short space of time and are hugely successful. Bob Dylan's Bringing It All Back Home was recorded in 3 days and is one of Dylan's best albums, there's many more Dylan albums like this. What about live albums? Most are recorded there and then
