The New Beat style has been successful in Belgium and in France from 1987 to 1988. Rock To The Beat, the flagship of this style, is derived from a different current, acid house, and was written by the American Kevin Saunderson in 1987. It has since given birth to dozens of versions. All that was missing was the Dupont’s one presented here!
