Neither Akita nor Rupenus are strangers to the collaborative process and it is fitting that these two giants of noise got together. The Ten Foot Square Hut is everything that one would expect from such a duo, with mid-range wheezes, spittle and hiss erupting into full spectrum sunbursts of noise. Given Akita's well-publicised transition to digital noise production, it sounds suspiciously analogue, probably due to Rupenus's source material of textured abrasion. - THE WIRE (UK)
