Quashant

Hasta El HP is downright filthy, stomping and gritty throughout. Definitely the highlight of the EP, and on par with the excellent tracks from the first release. Heavy, pounding acid techno crafted to devastating effect.

Thordigda

Not quite as good as Acid Resistance 001, but not far behind. Definitely no substandard tracks here!

The only complaint I would have is that Side A is pressed a little too quietly for my liking, even though this will only present a problem when mixing into/out of a louder record. Side B is fine, though.

A1 is dark and nasty, with a wonderful looped/reversed synth line - my favourite of the three.

B1 pounds along nicely with lots of strange, twisted sounds, and an almost hoovery synth lead. Probably more psychedelic than most so-called "psychedelic" trance in fact. A close second place for this one.

B2 is quite funky, with a hard house-style beat, and a nice 303 line. My least favourite of the three, rather surprisingly, but definitely still usable in one of my sets.

More releases from this excellent new label will be VERY welcome.
